¿How Did this Tale or Willakuy Begin?

One day I arrived in Pisaq, in Cusco, and while there I sat down to smoke a “mapacho” (raw tobacco cigar). As I gazed at the earth-banked terraces surrounding the “Wak'a” (mountain). I then called out in a soft vote: “MamaPacha (Mother Earth), why do you bring me here?”

MamaPacha answered: "Sinchi" (brave man), see and feel very well what place you are standing on. See and feel how things were done here and why, for in the coming times you will need this knowledge and Culture to be able to live.”

Tale - Willakuy

In the Qhychwa form of communication, the word Willakuy in relation to the person refers to: to confess, to tell about oneself or one's intimacies and generally refers to: confession, news or announcement, history, story or tale.

After this encounter and after receiving this message from Mother Earth, I began to investigate and to delve more deeply into the culture of the Andes, discovering in it a greater depth than in all that I had been told or taught, and all that is commonly known. I also discovered that I had very "old" connections with her, which little by little showed me that -- in spite of all the efforts of the "modern" world to exterminate this culture -- it is still "alive", because its roots are deeper and its "muhu" (seed) is stronger and "older" than all others put together.

The memories of Mother Earth and the knowledge of the Ancient Cultures have been transmitted from generation to generation and still survive amid certain original native people. They are preserved in plants, animals, bones, the elements, the rivers, the mountains, in the Sun and in rocks. In short, they are found in all of "nature", protected by higher forces or the “Pachakamaykuna forces" (laws of nature), which in time allowed me little by little to unbury and access their memories and some of their knowledge and mysteries.

When I began to access my own and her memories, I confirmed that the history we know and learn about was full of lies. More importantly, it leaves out everything that the "official history" wants to conceal. All the rest is classified as "myths and legends", distorted or buried. On the other hand, it is necessary to note that most of the books we know have been written, prepared, edited, printed and published by foreign sources, who created over "time" their own version of the facts -- their "uni-verse" or "single version" containing their own history --, their own science, their own system of beliefs, thus building a "reality" for themselves, a "foreign" reality for serving foreigners.

CHAPTER IIII

¿What Does the Modern World Say?

The Western, modern, or simply foreign world affirms that: "The value of ‘Pi’ or "∏" is a transcendental number, that is, a number that is not the root of any non-zero polynomial of finite degree with rational coefficients". Since ∏ is a transcendental number, the "Quadrature of the Circle" is not possible in a finite number of steps using the classical tools of a ruler and a compass.

In the 19th century, the German mathematician Ferdinand Lindeman demonstrated this fact, thereby closing definitively the permanent and arduous investigation about the problem of the "squaring of the circle", indicating that there was no solution.

It is possible to get an estimate of the value of ∏ using geometry. In fact, the Greeks already tried unsuccessfully to find an exact solution to the problem of the value of ∏, using a ruler and a compass. The Greek problem known as "Quadrating the Circle", or –what is the same—constructing a square having the same area as any circle, carries implicitly calculating the exact value of ∏. Once that the impossibility of finding ∏ by using a ruler and a compass was established, several approximations were developed. Two of the most elegant approximate solutions are credited to Kochanski (using a ruler and a compass) and to Mascheroni (using only a compass).
